Welcome to HairStudio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HairStudio mobile application ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use HairStudio. If you are under 18, you may use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Your country's age of digital consent may be higher (for example, 16 in parts of the EU). In that case you must meet the local requirement.
You sign in using your email address via magic-link authentication. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. You agree to provide an email address you own and control.
One person per account. Do not share your account or sign-in link with others.
HairStudio uses artificial intelligence to modify photos you upload so that you can see yourself with different hairstyles. Each generation consumes one credit from your balance. New accounts receive a starter credit bonus; additional credits are available via in-app purchase.
Generation results are AI-produced and may not always accurately represent how a style would look on you in real life. The app is intended for entertainment and inspiration, not as a professional styling tool.
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process that photo solely for the purpose of generating an AI result for you and showing it to you in your history. We do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not sell them.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Credits are virtual items used inside the app. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred to another account.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) under their respective terms. Credits are typically delivered within seconds of a successful purchase. If you do not receive your credits, try "Restore Purchases" in the app, and contact us if the issue persists.
Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, according to their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases. For issues caused by a bug on our side, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right (for example by re-crediting your account).
HairStudio's credit packs are one-time consumable purchases. There is no automatically-renewing subscription. You will not be charged unless you actively purchase a new credit pack.
We aim to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages of third-party providers, or other events may cause temporary unavailability. We may also update, change, or discontinue parts of the app.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated results are best-effort and may contain visual artifacts or inaccuracies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid to us for credit purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Unused credits are forfeited on account deletion. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they were last changed. For significant changes, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where HairStudio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
